Happy Holidays!

We had a wonderful week filled with holiday books, crafts, and songs!  This week the children worked on special gifts for their families and beautiful holiday cards. We read many books this week such as  , "If It's Snowy and You Know It Clap Your Paws!" , "The Gingerbread Man" , "The Gingerbread Baby", "Merry Christmas Big Hungry Bear" , and"Jingle Bells".

Through the week we also worked on our gingerbread house and it looks wonderful! We thank Olivia's family for donating it to our school!

We ended our week with our Holiday party singing many songs and enjoyed some cookies and milk with our families.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and a very happy New Year! ! We will reopen on January 6th.

Letter Jj and number 10

Last week we learned about the letter Jj and number 10 with Jungle Jim the Jellyfish.  We made Jingle Bell Bracelets for our Holiday party.  We had fun jumping, jogging, and even juggling for the letter Jj!

Through the week the children have been practicing their songs and have been making their special Christmas gifts for their families.

This year we were so happy to receive a large cardboard house and all classes have been working together to make it into our very own gingerbread house! All students have had a turn painting the house and have made many candy decorations to decorate the house!

This week we will be having so much holiday fun reading special books, singing songs, and finishing all our crafts.  This Friday we invite all parents to join us for our holiday party upstairs from 11 to 11:30 AM. The children will be singing five songs with the whole school and then we will have milk and cookies. We hope to see you there!

Letter Ii and Number 9

During this we we learned about letter Ii with Isabella Inchworm. We learned about inchworms and watch a video about how they move and made inchworm puppets.

Through the week we made small glitter ornaments and had our very own tree lighting in our classroom.  We also made candy canes by painting different patterns.

We had so much fun with our ice cream cone race outside!
