Every Monday we send home the ABC Journal with two additional pages inside. Each week your child should complete the letter of the week page inside the journal, the letter tracing page, and the number practice page. Please put both pages back inside their journals on the letter of the week page and send it back to school by Friday in their folder.
It is suggested that you work with your child on the letter pages either Monday or Tuesday and the number page on Wednesday or Thursday due to when we introduce each.
Please encourage your child to write their name on the two dittos every week for good practice. If they have trouble writing their name feel free to use a marker or a colored pencil to write it for them and then have them trace over it until they are ready to do it on their own.
