Last Week:
Last week we finished up letter Oo with Ollie the Octopus. We discussed octagons, and we had a wonderful time using fruit loops for letter Oo Art. On Friday we read, "Looking for letter 'O' " and circled all of the O's we could find. We also learned about okapi's, an African animal that has legs that resemble a zebra but is actually closely related to the giraffe. Click here for a video about this animal.
This Week:
We will be learning about letter Pp with Penelope Pig. During the week we will be learning about pigs and peacocks and other animals that start with Pp. We will also be talking about foods that start with Pp that you could take on a picnic.
Just a reminder, conferences are on Wednesday night. I will be sending out a reminder Monday afternoon.
Friday we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss' Birthday by reading Green Eggs and Ham. We will also be having our Pajama Day on Friday.
