We had a wonderful week learning about letter Cc with Cathy Cook! On Monday, we read and sang the Cathy Cook book focusing on the words that start with Cc. We painted letter C's with glue and attached cotton balls on them. On Tuesday, we celebrated the first day of October by singing our song " It's October and it's Time to Have Some Fun!" and by making paper plate black cats. Our cats are hiding all over our classroom. Wednesday, we focused on the number three. We ended our week by making candy corn and doing a color mixing experiment. Friday afternoon all the children enjoyed using only three colors ( red, yellow, and blue) of finger paint and mixing them to make many more colors.
This Week:
We will be focusing on letter Dd and number 4 this week. Monday we will be discussing fire safety and we will be having a visit from the Maywood Fire Department ( weather permitting). Throughout the week we will also be making Fall crafts and Halloween crafts.
